Description:  Missouri Pacific train HNS -- en route from Houston to the Southern Railway in New Orleans and then on to Birmingham as train 114 -- passes the MP's 'Four Deuces' at the south end of the Addis Yard. The train's motive power is really unusual, a pair of the Southern's six GP49's: 4603T and 4605H. These units were normally used in trios, so something must have happened to one of the train's locomotives.

This was one of 52 former Rock Island GP38-2's (4300-4351) acquired by the MoP after The Rock went bankrupt and were renumbered MP 2238-2289. The geep was tied up at the yard in Alexandria, Louisiana.
