Electric Scrap. Here is an original photo that I took in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, on 28 November 1964. Shown here is a side view of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4769, a P-5A (2-C-2) electric built by General Electric in October of 1932, rated at 3,750 horsepower, and retired in April of 1965 after 33 years of faithful service. |
